    Lightbulb Community Build-A-Team Project 1

So I was thinking with some battle activity going on around the forum and Showdown being used we could get a community based team project going. We could put together a team by vote and maybe even use it to battle on Showdown to see how it would do. I know not all teams fall into categories, but I can put out the main focus and then a category to for a random build and see what we can come up with. So with that I will put the first line of voting in this post and we can go from there.

What style should our team follow?
    1. Weather
    2. Stall
    3. Hyper Offensive
    4. Random Build

I would like to finish the team type voting by Friday, but if it looks like the voting could use more time I could let it have a full 3 days.

I myself vote to go with a weather team, only because I have been trying forever to get one completed and yet to get one done.

What style should our team follow?

    1. Weather
    2. Stall
    3. Hyper Offensive
    4. Random Build

I'll go with stall. I never really liked weather because it forces you to waste a slot on a Pokemon that can't nearly carry its own weight in OU besides the weather it provides (except T-Tar and Hippowdon). Also, I haven't seen many stall teams in Gen 6 as Pokemon like Talonflame and Greninja are able to power their way through such teams. But with appropriate counters, a stall team could work to great effect.

    Thanks so much Vasden2!

I'll vote weather - people seem to be giving up on it, but I always ran rain in Gen 4.

    Gravity team ftw!

Just kidding, I choose weather as well; love the rain.

    Yeah activity haha.

Oh I am liking the weather following, but I can see already there is going to be a drag out voting in which weather team we go with. Although I wonder if a dual weather team would be possible? Since the auto weather does not last forever like before and I always wondered why they did not make Steel types function safely in both Hail and Sand.

But that is my letter to GameFreak not for the Community Build-A-Team.

Updating the votes on the 2nd post.

We could try a weather+terrain team. I ran a drought+grassy terrain team in doubles for a while when x and y came out and it worked surprisingly well.

Yeah I think a lot of terrains would be cool. Like a Hail team with Misty Terrain would almost guarantee Dragons would hide in the corner haha,
