Lightbulb Pokémon Global Link: PokéMileage Club

Ok so I see that everyone has been playing Balloon Popping, the Bobbing Balloons game on Pokémon Global Link under the PokéMileage Club section.

Well to fill people in, you spend 100 PokéMiles to pop 10 balloons and you get a prize. Sadly the balloons award a random number from 1-10 and a score from 10-100 and a grade from F-A, or E-A, or D-A or something like that. The points and grade don't really matter as the prizes are completely random anyway, what is the point right.

Anyway there are 3 levels and each level cost 100 PokéMiles, again why are there levels if they cost the same. There is no sound, so it is a dull 10 balloon pop and done.

But the prizes are what we care about.

    • Cost to Play: 100 PokéMiles
    • Medal Requirements: 20 Medals
    • Level Amount: 3 Levels
    • Level 1 - Pop Pikachu, Munna, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie Balloons
    • Prizes
      • Metal Coat x 1
      • Prism Scale x 1
      • Up-Grade x 1
      • Dubious Disc x 1
      • Deep Sea Tooth x 1
      • Deep Sea Scale x 1
      • Shiny Stone x 1
      • Dawn Stone x 1
      • Fire Stone x 1
      • Kelpsy Berry x 3
      • Hondew Berry x 3

    • Level 2 - Pop Whimsicott, Emolga, Pancham, Swirlix, and Dedenne Balloons
    • Prizes
      • King's Rock x 1
      • Dragon Scale x 1
      • Electirizer x 1
      • Magmarizer x 1
      • Sachet x 1
      • Oval Stone x 1
      • Sun Stone x 1
      • Thunder Stone x 1
      • Water Stone x 1
      • Qualot Berry x 3
      • Grepa Berry x 3

    • Level 3 - Pop Koffing, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Woobat, and Lampent
    • Prizes
      • Razor Claw x 1
      • Razor Fang x 1
      • Protector x 1
      • Reaper Cloth x 1
      • Whipped Dream x 1
      • Everstone x 1
      • Moon Stone x 1
      • Dusk Stone x 1
      • Leaf Stone x 1
      • Pomeg Berry x 3
      • Tamato Berry x 3

And at the time I did not think I would write anything up for the game, because the game is nothing like the Dream World games where you can actually have a thing to see who can have the highest score, no real skill involved. It is basically like at a carnival and you are picking up 10 floating ducks at random for a prize, you win every time.

So I did have a perfect score once, then I decided to write this up and was like Krap I should have done a screen shot, but here is another attempt.

I believe they said that how many levels you had were determined by how many medals you have. All I get from this thing is berries and Everstones haha

You need 20 medals for Balloon Pop and that unlocks all 3 levels.

Anyone that is into the Pokémon Global Link, or not, yesterday's maintenance seems to have given us our medals and PokéMiles for our Dream World Points.

Although I believe the PokéMiles are less then they said they would be. I only got 500 PokéMiles and I thought I would be getting more. And I only recieved 5 medals from the Dream World, hmm.

A new game has been added to the Global Link. Once again it is a completely random points system with a completely random reward. Just clean the wall and find 3 Pokémon.

I miss the Dream World games.

It is a way for people to spend PokéMiles and feel like they are doing something in the process.

I would have liked to see old Dream World games make a return, but I guess earning things was removed from this generation.
