    Question Reworking the Gyms.

After taking a look at the unoffcial Gyms I have only seen four open with barely any activity Happening.
The Typing match ups are also too similar.

    Pokefarm Gym Notes.
    Pokemonpal7- Steel/Ground
    Vasden2- Dark/Fire
    Gengar- Ghost/Grass
    Dragax247- Steel/Dark
    Ryan493- Water/Ice
    Darkrai13- Water/Electric
    GoldChico- Fighting/Bug
    Frawg-Rock/Flying

Hmm.. Your E4 question poses to me great interest... I don't think that wouldn't be reasonable! ^_^
I propose that we should reshuffle the Gyms typing to create a wider range of choices and difficulty.
With these Gyms there would be 8 permanent types that the gyms use and when passed on this typing is kept and so the second typing can be chosen by the Gym leader while they run it.

I would also like to see some ideas about the Hatchling Gym as I want to be more active with it and give it more purpose. For example a Baby Battle and Rotation Battle Strategy Gym.

    Gym 1: Steel/Ground
    Gym 2: Steel/Dark
    Gym 3: Dark/Fire
    Gym 4: Water/Electric
    Gym 5: Water/Ice
    Gym 6: Ghost/Grass
    Gym 7: Fighting/Bug
    Gym 8: Rock/Flying

Hatching Gym: Baby pokemon @ lv 1 with Rotation Battle Format.

I will post a poll to see who wants this re-shuffle and ideas will be welcome to this thread.

I've just recently remembered about the new gyms and have only had a small amount of team training since then. I see what you mean about similar typings, mainly Steel and Dark. But we have 13/17 types so that's not much of a bad coverage. I'll need to do some looking around and think about this gym thing, so I won't vote on the poll right away

I don't know... I agree with you Slightly on the type change, but im not getting rid of Steel type, sorry. I'm going to keep it as it is, even if I do have a slight disadvantage with my team setup now.

    PokePal,

We don't have to change all gyms. The Gym leader would need to chose which typing to change, ect.

Yeah, I know, I get that. I'm just stating that I'm not going to change my gym. For two reasons: a) thanks for the banner Crymzon b) I've got an offensive and defensive type here. Both resist sandstorm.

How about changing the Gyms who's typings are not related i.e Grass and Ghost typing.

To make it that little more difficult for the challenger. The Typing is too broad and anyone could make a team to take out all the Seel, Dark and Water types and just playing it cool with the other gyms.

I agree with the re-shuffling a bit, but I already have both Dragon/Dark/Steel Pokemon trained and ready. If I have to change from Dark/Steel, I'll change to Dark/Dragon, but thats as far as I'll budge.
    This is a signature. Ha.

The smallest changes can make the biggest improvements. I can't wait to see your Gym.
