    Default [B/W] Special Field Phenomena

    Introduced in Pokémon Black and White are a few new ways of locating rare Pokémon. These phenomena--shaking grass, dust clouds, flying Pokémon's shadows, and rippling water--ensure the encounter of a Pokémon that is usually not found in the wild. Note that these phenomena will not appear until after you have obtained your first Gym badge.

    Rustling Grass
    Location: Tall grass
    Details: A patch of grass rustles and shakes, revealing a Pokémon.

    **Only available in rustling grass unless received in the Dreamyard.
    ***In Pokémon White, Throh is found in the wild while Sawk is found in rustling grass. In Pokémon Black, Sawk is found in the wild while Throh is found in rustling grass.

    Dust Cloud
    Location: Caves
    Details: A cloud of dust pops up, revealing either a Pokémon or an item.

    Details: The water ripples out in waves; a Pokémon can be found by Surfing or using the Super Rod on the tile.

    The stunfisk can also be found in the puddles in the city with puddles and windmills will update with name in a second
    ]thanks to scarlet for my awsome chcyer Bobreeder made that for me once upon a timeago the FC no longer applies

    Ah, thanks! It's Icirrus City, and it's apparently available there by Surfing, fishing, and grass.

    update the stunfisk can be found quite commonly in the puddles in iccirus city ive found 4 out of 4 in ten minutes

    Quick Tip on Dustclouds/Rippling Grass/etc.: Use a Repel as soon as you see one and then proceed to the spot! I've used it very well now to rack up 4 drilburs, a Bug Gem, a Dragon Gem, a Psychic Gem and a Water Stone.
    My Pickupup (Lillipup @ L.18 ) picks up Repels fairly often.
