To be honest, Abomasnow won't see any use in non-hailstorm teams, however, given that it is the automatic lead of any hailstorm team, it is fair to call it OU based on usage.

Random fact: I fought a team on PBR that used 6 abomasnow, all with different movesets. Good thing I had a fire attack .

Also a small difference, using Hail last only 5 turns, 8 turns with Icy Rock equipped, but Snow Warning creates a permanent Hail storm. Only way to remove Hail from Snow Warning is by using another weather effect.

Not to get to far off topic, but really? With a weakness to Water, Grass, and Ice and a base SP.DEF of 72.

Sandstorm gives Hippowdons sp. def a 1.5x boost, so a minimum iv/ev sp. sp. def hippowdon at 84 gets that raised by it's own sandstorm, so 84 x 1.5 = 126.
Mine has lived through enough surfs and ice beams. Oh it also can get slack off!

Actually the only pokemon that get a Sand Storm Sp. Def. boost are Rock types. Hippowdon shouldn't be getting a boost.
