Pokemon Ranger Help

Well I got a copy of Ranger last week, playing mainly to get Manaphy, and last night I beat it. When trying to start the mission to get the egg I learned that I should have gotten a new copy of Ranger and not a used one.

So is there anyway I can reset the cartridge to do the egg mission or should I just look for a new copy of ranger?

Nope, sorry.

You have to get a new copy of Pokemon Ranger to get a Manaphy.

unlucky. i might get ranger but now i know not to get a used one incase someone has already done the mission

u also have to put in a code to do the manaphy misPion,i found it on gamefaqs though.

I guess I can take some reassurance that my tale of woe can be used as a warning to others.

What bothers me about this is that I did some research before buying the game, and all I found was that Diamond/Pearl can only have one egg transferred to it.

And to think, I bought a used copy to save money, now I have to pay for a new copy and deal with the money I'll lose in trading the used copy. Some days you just can't win.

Ouch, that's a terrible deal. >< I'm sorry that happened to you.

I was never particularly interested in Ranger; I didn't think the Manaphy egg was worth buying a whole other game. If I do ever get it, though, I'll keep this in mind and look for a new copy.

You mean there isn't a way to clear out the game's memory? I find that somewhat hard to believe. If it is true, it's pretty lame. Oh well, I already have a TRU Manaphy, and I really would have no reason to play Ranger execpt for a D/P reward.
