The Uberly-Uber Pokemon Nickname Thread!

Do you have nicknames for your Pokemon? If so, share it with the rest of Pokefarm! This is not a thread for nickname suggestions, but anyone is free to ask me, or any other member here for advice on nicknames. The main point of the thread is still to share nicknames.

Here are the nicknames of my Pokemon and future Pokemon:
Mucronatum (Venusaur) - Mucronatum is part of the scientific name for the Montezuma Cypress, the stoutest tree in the world. (Largest Circumference)
Flareagle (Blaziken) - Just a combination of 'Flare' and 'Eagle'.
UZO-60 (Magnezone) - UZO stands for Unidentified Zapping object, and the 60 represents the level it learns Zap Cannon.
Angurius (Tyranitar) - Angurius is a character in the classic Godzilla series, one of Godzilla's occasional allies.
Orosmarus (Walrein) - Orosmarus is the scientific name for a species of walrus.
Hindenburg (Drifblim) - Hindenburg is the famous german airship/zeppelin/blimp that burned in the sky.

I've actually stopped naming my pokemon since my horrendous mistake of naming my Turtwig "Wiglet". It was funny, see, because he was so cute, and it sounded kinda like his pokename... and then he evolved. And... now I have a Torterra (GRRR! FEAR ME! STOMP STOMP STOMP!) named "Wiglet". o.O

So now I only name 'em if they're fully evolved. But, see, I don't want to re-name them after I've leveled them for a while, because doesn't their friendship level reset when you do that?

Also, I learned early on that if I named (say) my Zubat "Batchy" then every time I wanted to refer to Zubat (or Golbat, or Crobat) in a conversation, the first word that would leap to mind was "Batchy". *sigh*

So, in order to teach myself everyone's pokenames, and because of the above confusions, now everyone just goes by their pokename. Which is boring.

It's possible that I'm taking all of this a little bit too seriously.

Haha, that's a story for the kids, but yeah, Wiglet is a cutesy name for a Turtwig, but it's not fitting for a Torterra. Although it would bring a nostalgic charm of youthfulness to it. I don't know about the renaming-happiness though. I've not gotten all of my team yet, and none of those that I already have are evolved. I'll name them when I get them though. It's better to pre-plan though, but since my nicknames go to my meta-game team, it would be easy to evolve them quickly.

@ Paladin: I don't think you're taking it too seriously, but I always name mine, the only ones that don't have nicknames are ones I recieved from trades from people who didn't nickname.

I've never been particularly good with nicknames, so I'm always very amazed at the nicknames that trainers grant their Pokémon. It's very fun to see and I have to admit I'm a little jealous when I see the great things people come up with sometimes.

I remembered, in the first-gen games, calling Gyrados 'Garrett' and Victreebel 'Victor'.

XD In gen 1 I called my Bulbasaur charmander, my charmander squirtle, and my squirtle Bulbasaur.
