Things you never noticed

I have a problem not noticing a lot of pokemon trivia that, after telling people, remind me of how blind and/or dumb I am

For example, Relicanth's eyes.



Its eyes are on the rock part of its face, not the red dots on the side of its body. I didn't know this until I saw a screenshot from the anime of a bunch of squinty eyed Pokemon with Brock and I had to do a double take. "Why is Relicanth th- wait I- ohhhhh."

Or Giratina's colors looking like they're inverted because it controls the "reverse" world. Although when I look at it, it's not all inverse but some of the colors are.



I'm sure there's more but the Giratina one happened today while playing Pokemon GO. And the Relicanth one I never hear the end of.


How about you all? Any supposedly obvious things in the series you took forever to notice?

I want to know what everyone eats. I see rice now and then but where does the protein come from?
