Lightbulb Poké Academy: Spawn I Move Pool Submission

When creating a move pool for our Spawn I, try to remember what our Spawn is and moves should make sense.

Like our Spawn I is a pure Steel type, even though it can become Steel/Water, would Surf make sense? Our Spawn also has a base Speed of 30, would it be doing many Quick Attacks?

Looking at our BSR Rating 293.53. our Spawn falls into Good Category, which suggest it could have a move pool of 85 moves, 40 of which should be considered very good moves.

Normally Level Up moves would be about 13-16 moves, which 3-4 can be Heart Scale moves.

Egg Moves use to be 4-12 moves, I think Gen VI has increased that to like 15.

TM/HM Moves can make up the rest of the Move Pool, but most every Pokémon has the following TMs/HMs,
    TM06 - Toxic
    TM10 - Hidden Power
TM11 - Sunny Day - Except most Water and Ice Types
    TM15 - Hyper Beam
    TM17 - Protect
TM18 - Rain dance - Except most Grass and Fire types
    TM21 - Frustration
    TM27 - Return
    TM32 - Double Team
    TM42 - Facade
    TM44 - Rest
    TM45 - Attract - Except Genderless
    TM68 - Giga Impact
    TM87 Swagger
    TM88 - Sleep Talk
    TM90 - Substitute
    TM100 - Confide

    Spawn I Recap

    Concept: Alpha Weather Pokémon

    Concept: "Alpha Weather Pokémon"
Description: A Pokémon that can fit into any weather team and be a weather starter.
Justification: With the lack of weather starting Pokémon, be it auto or manual, a multi-weather Pokémon would be amazing.
    Questions To Be Answered:

    • Could one Pokémon survive in all weather conditions?
    • What would this Pokémon do other then weather?
    • Can an ultimate weather Pokémon boost some lesser-used Pokémon play ability?
    • Would this Pokémon do anything once the weather is gone?
    • Would one weather still dominate over the others?

Explanation: A Pokémon that could fill the role of weather starter on multiple teams would change how the rest of your team could act without having to rely on multiple Pokémon to auto-start or manually start the weather for your team. Being able to start weather and retreat to start again would be the goal and trick of this Pokémon.

    Type: Steel
    Ability 1:
    Squall

Ability Description: Changes Type and Ability to match held rock.

Detailed Description: Squall is hard coded to only work for Spawn I. The wielder changes its type on switching in depending on the Rock held—each Rock corresponds to a different ability also. The wielder is immune to all item removal effects, so long as it is holding a Rock: Covet, Knock Off, Switcheroo, Thief, and Trick. If the wielder is not currently holding a Rock, it cannot be given one by means of Bestow, Switcheroo, or Trick. This ability can't be copied, replaced, or changed by Mummy, Role Play, Skill Swap, Trace, or similar effects. It cannot be suppressed by Gastro Acid or Worry Seed.

Ability Changes: The following changes happen while Spawn I is a holding a Stone.

    • Smooth Rock
      • Spawn I's ability becomes Sand Stream and type is changed to Steel/Rock

    • Damp Rock
      • Spawn I's ability becomes Drizzel and type is changed to Steel/Water

    • Heat Rock
      • Spawn I's ability becomes Drought and type is changed to Steel/Fire

    • Icy Rock
      • Spawn I's ability becomes Snow Warning and type is changed to Steel/Ice

    Hidden Ability: Forecast

Ability Description: This Pokémon’s type and figure change with the weather.

We are back on track with collecting a move pool for Spawn I.

Once again Spawn I has been voted to be Genderless, so no Egg Moves are needed.

My move pool comes out too attack heavy and nothing like stalling out weather.

I wanted to use more attacks, but I couldn't think of any that could fit.

I think I need to sit down and just dedicate time to looking over moves. I have multitasking a lot lately and that is effecting my concentration on a lot of projects.

We can also mix up our choices to find the most suitable move pool.

So far with this entire Spawn I process, it takes one idea to send the project going in a new direction.

I think this idea of yours would fit perfectly. Maybe if people add moves that fit our theme, we could put it together at the end as one move pool.

Iron Defense I completely forgot about, but how could you have a pure Steel with Defensive base stats and not have Iron Defense?

    I am liking this process.

Just updated my choices with your choices and add some new ideas.

I don't like my ideas of just steel type moves, and I think I need to change some level up moves.
