EV Training in Friend Safari

[Deneves]

There are several new options for EV training in this generation. One interesting method is to use Friend Safari. There are only three pokemon in each safari and they share a type to enable you to exploit a common weakness. Most of the members here have taken advantage of Shadow's friend safari that has Audino and Chansey, two pokemon that each provide 2 HP Effort Values along with large experience points every time you faint or capture them. The biggest advantage of EV training in Friend Safari is the greater likelihood of finding shiny pokemon there.

My Steel Safari is great for Defence training then since both Ferroseed and Klefki give 1 EV in Defence and Skarmory gives 2 EVs in Defence.
