POKÉRUS has a 3 in 65,536 chance of being generated on a Pokémon, either wild or bred.
After a Pokémon has POKÉRUS it can pass it to other Pokémon in your party during battles. It can only pass to Pokémon beside it in the party and neither Pokémon need to battle.
POKÉRUS will not be able to be pass if you leave your Pokémon out of your box for 24 hours, so before midnight put it in a box to save your status condition. The effects of POKÉRUS will still be in effect, but will no longer be able to be passed.
Now the effects of POKÉRUS, POKÉRUS will cause a Pokémon to gain double the EVs it normally would gain.
