    Default New Breeding tips/tricks

    Hey all,

It has been a long long time, I hope all of you are well!

My daughter and I have been playing through x/y on our brand new 3ds XL's and I will soon have beaten the game and really want to check into breeding. From what I've seen, the IV's are much nicer this time around and EV training seems to be more tolerable, I don't plan to get as into it as I did before, but to have a full team with some fun options again will be quite fun, I think.

What i'm looking for is a good tip for what I need to know about breeding in X/Y understanding that D/P was the last time I did anything serious and I may have forgotten quite a bit since then.

    Can anyone offer some help?

    Thanks!

In the Kiloude City Pokemon center there's a man who will tell you you're Pokemon's potential along with their best stats. He's really all you need to be honest. And welcome back!

The IV guy even gives you a heads-up on sub-par stats in X/Y, it's a helpful addition

    Welcome back, Whit!

Sorry I should have linked this page as well, Individual Value Reference Sheet. Not as detailed, but it gives some idea of the characteristics and tells you about where to find some helpful people in Kalos, IV checker included.

So after releasing a Pokémon with semi decent IVs because I accidentally used a TM over it's egg move, you can um have the move relearner teach your Pokémon egg moves it once knew.

That is a nice little um Easter egg there that you would think other sites with this knowledge may have wanted to um put in bold or something.

I think this was just discovered with the PCTB Inkay because someone lost their Happy Hour move on their Inkay and got it back.
