Kalos Berry Fields version 1.1

Right off of Route 7 you will find the Berry Fields. containing 6 rows with 6 soft soil spots for a total of 36 Berry Trees. There is also a mulching machine on the north northwest and southeast corners of the field to make your own mulch. Mulch can help with boosting berry production, controlling moisture, weeds, pest, and even increasing mutation chances.

Finding a mutation will also bring a scientist to the farm to keep a record of every mutation you find.

Kee Berry	Liechi Berry + Ganlon Berry	If held by a Pokémon, this Berry will increase the holder's Defense if it's hit with a physical move.
Kelpsy Berry	Chesto Berry + Persim Berry	Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base Attack stat.
Liechi Berry	Hondew Berry + Yache Berry	If held by a Pokémon, it raises its Attack stat in a pinch.
Maranga Berry	Salac Berry + Petaya Berry	If held by a Pokémon, this Berry will increase the Pokémon's Sp. Defense stat when hit by a special attack.
Petaya Berry	Pomeg Berry + Kasib Berry	If held by a Pokémon, it raises its Sp. Atk stat in a pinch.
Pomeg Berry	Iapapa Berry + Mago Berry	Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base HP.
Qualot Berry	Pecha Berry + Oran Berry	Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base Defense stat.

Mulch Description:

 

Amaze Mulch - Mulch to be used in a Berry Field. Sporting the effects of Boost, Rich, and Surprise Mulch.
Boost Mulch - Mulch to be used in a Berry Field. It increases the Berry harvest that can be grown by diligent watering.
Rich Mulch - Mulch to be used in a Berry Field. It increases the Berry harvest without the need for particularly diligent care.
Surprise Mulch - Mulch to be used in a Berry Field. It causes strange, sudden mutations based on the combination of Berries.

Every combination of Kee & Maranga & any third berry produced Amaze Mulch for me. Amaze Mulch has all the effects of Rich, Surprise and Boost Mulch. The image you have is actually correct

Haha I snagged that image from an old sprite in SS I think, haha. Yeah all test I have done has been Kee + Maranga + any, just missed the edit.


I am still trying to find a mutation containing Tamato Berry. I have Tamato planted with Kebia, Payapa, and Rindo right now. I have Occa to try yet and Haban, Shuca, Coba, and Passho, but I don't have the last 4 to try yet.

All the EV reducing berries have a further mutation when planted beside a super effective weakening berry.

Kelpsy Berry (ATK EV) + Wacan Berry (Electric) = Apicot Berry
Qualot Berry (DEF EV) + Tanga Berry (Bug) = Ganlon Berry

Although the other berries boost stats, so being that only 5 stats can be boosted, Tamato may not mutate.

Not to be a pain, but the other thread that was made sticky for the berry info, could it be unstuck and this one made sticky? This one has more info and everything is in order here. Sorry for that, but the first thread kind of got going before I started putting everything together.

Thank you, I just noticed the other one was sticky and I have been working off this one. That was my fault. I had all the info spread out over a few pages and tried to clean it and I am use to in the Poké Academy section I can just move post order.
