I had a club-style tail in mind, but my artistic ability (ie, lack thereof) did not allow it to happen.

Here's my preliminary movepool suggestion (may well change during the week). I started out by looking at moves that will allow our Spawn to deal with the weather setup users; Seed Bomb, Superpower and Earthquake do that well, hitting the targets super effectively (Seed Bomb may well be removed, as it may be overpowered). This, however, does not stop the weather, so it would need to run a weather move of its own to properly stop it. Therefore I gave it all the weather setup moves (still on the fence here; may be too far out in terms of flavor). Then, to boost the utility of a team support set that this Pokemon should be very capable of running, I gave it screens, Roar and Dragon Tail to complement its Spiking ability. A setup sweeper is also possible, with either Bulk Up or Swords Dance, depending on what your team needs. I'm right now thinking this may be an overpowered Pokemon, basically the best Swift Swimmer around.. I will be tweaking this and my base stat spread to balance. But here it is, I pulled out some very useful and kind of useful moves, and included the full list of moves at the end.

(Bold means I added them; the rest is taken from Qwilfish.)

    Very useful moves:
    Spikes
    Toxic Spikes
    Aqua Tail

    Taunt
    Earthquake

    Bulk Up

    Dragon Tail
    Reflect
    Light Screen
    Weather setup moves

I made more defensive (bigger spikes) and speeder (sleek fins and tail). I do see a mace acting like a heavy anchor.. making it slow.

Just a thought... but thinking along the lines of sharks, I arrived at the idea of cartilage.

Cartilage would be lighter than bone, but still be more viable in both offensive and defensive respects than qwilfish's current "blow up like a puffer fish to release projectiles and/or explode", which isn't very sustainable.

But then again, why would we be turning a puffer fish into a shark? Completely different style of hunting

I feel like this conversation has come up in Spawn before. My only argument to the cause is. to .

Pokémon has never had a need to make sense he-he.

Man, my pokemon knowledge is going down the drain. I thought they were both single stage pokemon >.< movepool is nearly done though, I'll have it up tomorrow.

Speaking of which, they are counter-part Pokémon like Vulpix and Growlith. Shall the spawn evolve at the same level as them?

I thought about this. I think we should have done Abilities and evolution method before moves.

I was thinking with a new stone or item, like Murkrow or Gliscar. Although Vulpix and Growlith are similar, but Arcanine completely changes it's move pool.
