I've decided my last stats thing was actually pretty thick. It's too overpowered.

    Revised Base Stats
    HP: 100
    Atk: 104
    Def: 110
    SAtk: 80
    SDef: 50
    Speed: 101
    Overall: 545 (I think)
It's Speed lets it out speed a lot of un-Scarf'd pokemon, while still being Physically Bulky. Also, it has a usable SAtk stat, should it want to surprise someone with a Specs set. A high attack stat makes it a generally physical attacker. I'm starting the moveset in Excel atm.

EDIT: Level-up set done, 23 moves. Basically Qwilfish, with a couple extras. Is a single signature move allowed to be created or not? Progress is being hampered after burning half my right hand with a hot iron.

So I was sitting and looking at Qwilfish and thinking what would the stats for an evolution look like. I don't want to jack the stats up and make it just a stat juggernaut with nothing else going on.

So I brought up Qwilfish's stats,
    HP: 65
    ATK: 95
    DEF: 75
    SP.ATK: 55
    SP.DEF: 55
    SPD: 85
    BTS: 430

And I looked at all the stats for the auto weather Pokés, non-legendary of course.

Ninetales is the fastest at 100 SPD. Ninetales and Politoed share the base SP.DEF of 100. Hippowdon has the best HP, 108; best ATK, 112; and best DEF, 118.

So looking again at what we can work with, I decided on this.

    Spawn 4:
    HP: 105
    ATK: 105
    DEF: 105
    SP.ATK: 55
    SP.DEF: 55
    SPD: 105
    BTS: 530

If you look Qwilfish's base stats all end in a 5, for a total of 430. Spawn 4 adds to that with all stats ending in a 5, for a base total of 530.

Although SP.ATK and SP.DEF get no love, I think this stat range is very slick.

I am going to work on the move pool and artwork here tonight.

Oh no! I totally forgot it's anti-weather! Well, it's nothing I can't change. I've given it a signature move at Lvl 72, Storm Charge, which has 100 Base Power, Water move, 95% Acc. It ends any rain in effect instantly. 'The user absorbs water from the air around it, and charges the foe. It ends any heavy rain, and may boost the user's Defense.'

I didn't think of giving it any special move. I wonder if Storm Charge could also end all weather? What ever weather it absorbs it unleashes that damage. Like if it absorbs rain it is a water type attack for that attack only. If it absorbs Sandstorm it is Ground type for that attack only. Maybe it could be a Normal Type move with no weather in effect, or Poison type.

Actually with that move I would think about nerfing my stat spread a bit.

I thought of that too, but you can't really end hot sun by absorbing heat from it. It would work with sandstorm, hail and rain though. I'm not really sure how it would work with sun.

So I am not much of an artist, but I gave it a try. I wish I could draw electronically, would be a cleaner image I think.

This is what we started with.

    My idea.

This was what I wanted it to look like, but this is not my image.

So now my move pool might make a little more sense.

With Spawn 4's new mace like tail, Iron Tail would be huge plus hit Ice types hard. Soak is a good way to turn opponents into a Water types. Curse is just to bulk up ATK and DEF, but lowers SPD. Which Spawn 4 could 2 maybe 3 Curse and still be plenty fast. Head Smash is a great Rock attack.

    Spawn 4:
    Level Up:
    - Spikes
    - Soak
    - Curse
    - Iron Tail
    9 Harden
    9 Minimize
    13 Water Gun

    21 Toxic Spikes
    25 Stockpile
    25 Spit Up
    29 Revenge
    33 Brine
    37 Pin Missle
    41 Take Down
    45 Aqua Tail
    49 Poison Jab
    53 Destiny Bond
    57 Hydro Pump
    65 Head Smash

    TM/HM:
    TM06 Toxic
    TM07 Hail
    TM08 Bulk Up

I don't dare to attempt to draw it myself, but what about a mix between an ankylosaur's defence on the back of a shark, with Qwlfish's tail, palette and spikes? So, ankylosaur + shark + qwilfish

I am incapable of artistry, but I am envisioning (for my Spawn #5 proposed stats and movepool in the works) something similar to Tani's idea: a larger, more streamlined body than Qwilfish's with fins, and with a larger, more massive club-like tail (for movepool reasons and to show higher attack). The spikes are placed in a more hydrodynamical fashion (pointed backwards from the direction of motion, probably more scale-like than the pins on Qwilfish) to facilitate higher speed.
