New thread, because whole new comic, basically. Here we go again.

First off I want to thank the Pokefarm users for putting up with me this long LOL. If you were following the original thread, you may be wondering why we're starting the comic over. To that I would say: it was always intended to be a beta version. Night and I have both written fanfiction, but we'd never tackled a comic. So, we decided we'd do a trial run first.

And you guys said a lot of really useful stuff. Night and I talked over every comment in the thread and noticed areas where people were jumping to strange conclusions due to poor storytelling on our part. I have to say the funniest one was when someone suggested Tyranitar left Jen the apple! Hopefully everything will be clearer now.

I would like to keep posting VF here on Pokefarm as I did before, but to save on our site's bandwidth I'd like to just link to the Smackjeeves account pages rather than inlining everything. I hope this is all right.

Thanks for the comments. I'm working on page 25 now and I personally really like the way things are going now. I should mention that the biggest change is that Jen is not from "our world" any more. Bit of trivia: This story was originally (years ago) conceived as a parody of the then-common "author gets pulled into pokemon game" fanfics, most of which were terrible and deserving of mockery. We shelved it at the time, but dug it up again last summer because we thought there was potential in it for a serious story.

Anyway I don't want to spam up this thread too much right now so I'll stop talking.

There is definitely potential in this one...and it seems you have made the intentions of the characters and the plot more apparent from the last book...and I find the reversal of personas personally appealing...can't wait to read more!

Hm, this is intriguing. It's quite different to the original,as it seems this is a planned attack. But then, it seemed planned later on in the original.
