Shiny Umbreon/Lugia egg

except the odds are that a shiny on the GTS is a clone or is not detectable. Personally I wouldn't recommend getting anything off the GTS because of that...but that's just me.

An easier way to get a shiny Pokemon (if you don't understand chaining at all) is to breed two pokemon of different "nationalities", so, say you get a Japanese Ditto, you can breed it with your English Eevee, and then your chances of getting a Shony Eevee in the egg are like, double.

It might still take a long time, though. =/

You chances actually quadruple, from 1/2048 as opposed to 1/8192.
(But, the Pokemon must be from different games; you can't use Meister's Magikarp)
