Anyone else feel underleveled in HG/SS?

I seem to recall that my team was between 39 and 42 when I beat the Elite 4. A leveled Magneton really puts the hurt on Lance. Their Steel typing shuts down 2 of his 3 Dragonites and the Electric STAB is super-effective against most of his team.

i have lv 100 carmander *has a everstone*
lv 91 infernape
vapreon lv 45
and a eevee lv 74

I personaly love that because not only is it a greater challenge but leveling up becomes so much easier.

I must of tried to beat that first Dragonite at least 20 times before I floored it then the others. Put it to sleep with Noctowl, then switch in Pupitar to Rock Slide and Sandstorm it to death, at Lv.49. Rest of team was Lv.44 - 46 at most. Quagsire owned Aerodactyl...
