Lumps and Bumps in Stickytape Rolls

(Or Cabbages, and Kings)

Titled thus because I sort of like the cadence of the phrase.

At the time of writing, I'm not certain what I want to put in a blog - and I don't like making promises/commitments I can't maintain.

Therefore I doubt my blog will be updated every day, and I would not expect it to be always amusing, always serious, or always somewhere in between.

  1. A Necessary Weasel

In my pursuit of HM slaves I haven't utilized before, today I discovered that Buizel and Floatzel learn Surf, Strength, Waterfall and Dive.
Fabulous! *trades one to recently restarted game*

  2. Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion

Picked up a new game today, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion.

Tried it out, still getting the hang of it!

Was just about to have my butt handed to me by Captain Hook when I saw the blinky red light. So now it's on the charger and I'm posting this blog.

    First Impressions:
    * Woohoo! Shiny
    * I do not know if sound is necessary. If it is, it could get annoying.
    * Hey, they included Rapunzel. Nice!
    * I need to work on my button mashing ...
  3. R u ok?

Today, in Aus, was "R U OK?" Day

Thursday 15 September, 2011 is R U OK?Day. It’s a national day of action which aims to prevent suicide by encouraging Australians to connect with someone they care about and help stop little problems turning into big ones.

On that day we want everyone across the country, from all backgrounds and walks of life, to ask family, friends and colleagues: "Are you OK?".

Staying connected with others is crucial

  4. Congratulations, Brock likes you.

This means that you are female, and not Jessie.

Over the past few weeks or so, my sister has been lending me season after season of the Pokemon anime.
    Currently I'm up to box #4 (mid-Johto)

While I think about such things as why Team Rocket would be more scary if they didn't show up (and fail) so often, a thought stirs.

Is it really such a compliment if Brock likes a girl?
    I don't think it is.
  5. Anime Physics

A friend of mine came up with this theory. It isn't perfect, it doesn't even apply all the time, but it gets a smile and occasionally promotes discussion.

    The Theory:
In any given anime, the strength of an attack/ability has a direct link to the volume at which its' name is called out.

(hmm, does this apply to Pokemon? Let's seee...)
Yeah... you heard the critter's voice there too, didn't ya >.<
