We've finally reached the halfway point to Brazil! That is to say, we're
geographically halfway, but I hope we're more than that time-wise...
We're at 1 degree 20 minutes north, 24 deg 46 min west. Equator is
    getting close!
On board things have changed a bit, since mum got a nasty finger
inflammation. She can't help with cooking or dishwashing or anything
like that, so my sister and I share that responsibility for the moment..
    It's ...

Oh frettled gruntbuggly thy micturations are to me

As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.

Sorry, been reading a lot of HHGTTG the past few days :P Finished with the first 3 books, and judging by our current speed I'll have plenty time to finish the rest... We're now in the "doldrums", an area a bit north of the equator where there's very frequently calms. Our current speed is 0.5 knots, which is about 10% of an R (I quote: "R is ...

    Hello Pokefarmers!

I figured it was time to write a blog! Quite a few things have happened
since w left. I'll take it from the start.

We decided to stop on one of Mindelo's neighboring islands to dive in
and clean the boat above and (especially) below the waterline, which was
overgrown with barnacles (a shell that sticks to the boat and is a
nightmare to remove, the best way I have found is a precise strike with
    some semi-sharp wooden ...

Hello again! Here's a blog from 20*17.5 N 23*21.5 W We've now been at sea for a week, and HAL is stearing better than ever! We hardly do anything to steer the oat at the moment, so we get a lot of time to read, think and just look at the sea. Yesyerday we were visited by a large group of dolphins that played around the boat for the good part of an hour, surfing on the waves. It's hard to get tired of watching their acrobatics!

This morning we also found flying fish on the foredeck. ...

Hello, time for a new update! I'll start a few hours after I left off last time. I was sitting inside reading when I suddenly hear my sister shout that she sees a large fish! Everyone go up, and there it was, a sizable dorado, looking almost fluorescent in the evening light. It swam lazily beside and behind the boat. We'd heard dorado/mahi-mahi was very nice tablefare, so we got the fishing rod outside. Sadly, it didn't seem all too interested in either the "squid" or the "wobbler" ...
